"Oh! Look how cute you all are! Where is this? Santa Cruz?"
"Yeah. We were walking down to the beach."
"You have such a beautiful smile. I wish you'd stand up straight though."
"Mom. Stop it. Didn't you notice the tree?"
"What? Oh! Why is that there?"
"Somebody just did it. Isn't it cool? It's called 'urban knitting'. Here, look at these..."
"Can I blog this? Can I use your picture?"
"Sure."

That's so cool!! I love the dichotomy between the two..that's original!
It's so funny you said "can I blog this"...I think that all the time too. Glad you did.
Best,

hi tracy,
i'm guessing your daughter is on the left? beautiful, and her friends are too.

Hi Janet!
Nope. That's Hannah on the left, Marisa in the middle and my Katey on the right. Telling her she should stand up straight (when it's not even necessary) was a total "mom moment" on my part. And obviously not what she expected when showing me this photo! But I couldn't help myself... it just blurted out!

What a project! Tree outfit. Never thought it would be a fashion statement...lol
That's a new one on me, but very interesting. Your daughter and her friends are darling!
That is so wild! I have never seen or heard of this! I can see how in an urban setting it could be very interesting!
Your daughters and their friend are all adorable! Ahh youth!!

I just love these! I have never seen anything like this before! I wonder if I could do it??? I smell a challenge (I've been studying these photos for a few minutes now).
